Welcome to
What's next?   Minnesota & Wisconsin
We arrived in Sioux Falls a bit stressed out.  Bob because he drove 8 hours against a strong 30 mph headwind and me because not only was the burning sun on my side again, but the 10,000 ft pass we went over really pounded my sinuses and ears.

Well, what do you do when you're stressed out?  DANCE it off !!!

Buck's Country Western Bar felt just like In Cahoots in Sacramento.  The regulars actually looked like all of you back at home too!  The funny thing is that there were absolutely no line dances.  Only freestyle 2-step, cha, swing and pony.  Loads of fun though!
Sioux Falls' gem is a 20-mile bike trail on a continuous greenbelt, encircling the town and arriving at plumeting waterfalls on the Big Sioux River.  Perfect!

Unfortunately....the strongs winds continued, plus it still managed to be hot, sticky and humid--even with the wind!....
so we decided to explore by foot.

Without the stinky train running through the middle of the falls, it really would be a gem!
Oh...Did I mention Bob's new business?
We found this cafe in the book "Road Food"  (thanks Dennis & Steph!)
The smallest diner ever.  That bar that you see Bob saddled up at is the only seating...maybe for 8 people.  Food was awesome, prices better!
Bob's Cafe, since 1951
